Katherina will be speaking in the Interaction track: Health and Mental Health: No Patients Left Behind, at the Himss Europe and Health 2.0 Conference at Sitges, Barcelona May 27-29.

Health starts with mental well-being

This is what the Health 2.0 community calls an "unmentionable": something we never openly discuss but still prevents us from being our healthiest selves. Technology provides patients with readily accessible digital tools to engage mental health patients in becoming, just like any other patients, empowered stakeholders of the care team. Example solutions to self-manage mental conditions include VR to treat anxiety and stress or digital coaches to help with depression. In this session we look at how digital solutions empower patients in dealing with their mental conditions as part of improving their overall health.

State-of-the-art or State-to-the-action? Katherina will take the stage to reflect and discuss about the mental health gap and the interesting challenges to scale up services for emotional, behavioural and mental health through digital solutions.
